Duke Nukem Forever released June 10th
« on: May 14, 2011, 03:59:53 PM »
Watching the FA Cup there was an advert for this mythological vaporware. Whatever next? Elvis Presley coming out of retirement? Franko catching Nessie? I don't expect to see a SharkPPC though...come on I'm not crazy

Dunno who this Nuke Dukem character is... but never was a big fan of Elvis... is he still working in that  chip shop and doing working mens clubs on his nights off... :)

I did catch Nessie once... but after quite a long chat with her, turned out she was a PC fan so I chucked her back in again then shot her for good measure (think she sunk)... :)

PS: You should explain for our friends over the pond that the FA Cup means Football Association (Not Soccer) and it doesn't stand for F' All Cup... :D

"So duke what about the game is it any good?", "yeah, but after 12 F#@#ing years it should be!"

Hope this doesn't stink as bad as Doom3. Long awaited sequels are often big disappointments.

Hey, they could still miss that date - by some definitions, it's vaporware until it's on the shelves :)

Something incredibly bad would need to happen for it not to come out now. If the unlikely event happened then it would be leaked.

So, does this mean the world is about to end? Hell is about to freeze over? Commodore (the original one) mysteriously getting resurrected and relaunching a new Amiga with a 64 core 10GHz 680x0 for a tenner?

Surely it can't just get released like that without someone seriously messing with the fabric of time and space...

Someone must have sold their soul and/or made sacrifices of dubious nature to some elder gods.

At first I thought someone was making me feel special (10th is my birthday!) but then read the tag in the video that it was coming out june 14!  That is still ok as the 14th is the US Army's Birthday! :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

It just needed cash flow.

I'm surprised they didn't just wait until July 4. Nothing like a token release of something irrelevant to take advantage of a holiday like this. ID4 ring any bells?
