Only had the kindle since saturday , great bday present from the wife.

I read loads as I spend 2 and half hours a day travelling back and for to work.

Own hundreds of books. Must say I love the kindle. And the free books are welcome

Wasn't sure if it would get in the way, but it doesnt like, good tech you forget your reading on a device rather than a book. Its so much easier for reading in bed, got the case with the light also :)

E-ink is awesome and they are working on colour with better refresh rates.

The latest kindle is a lot faster and lighter than previous version from what ive read.

Cant fault it. It also auto syncs across devices so if your reading kindle books on your android device or ipad or pc then your kindle will carry on from where you were and vice versa

also does audio books, mp3,s pdf , word etc etc

Free 3g forever across the world kicks arse

Im going to shut up now lol

I looked at the kindle since I've installed the app on my smartphone, but the more I studied on it, the more I leaned toward the nook color.

Finally bought a nook color and love the thing.  Screen does wash out a bit in bright sunlight, but it's still readable.

Rooted it with Gingerbread via the microSD card so now I my Angry Birds sitting right next to the nook app AND the Kindle app!  I just love the irony in that...

Plus, by rooting via the microSD card, I can revert back to stock simply by shutting it down and removing the card.

The problem I have with current e-book readers is that there's no way I'm licensing books relying on DRM that leaves me dependent on specific devices licensed to use that DRM... Until the DRM goes, I stick with paper.
