Should be a 15 pin connection (standard VGA monitor style) and I'd probably go for the Macrosystem scandoubler, the Microway is NTSC only.  AGA modes may lose some colors, but I've used A2000 scandoublers in A4000s with good results.

edit: though I've never actually tried the Macrosystem card in AGA modes, perhaps the compatibility is worse than others...

15 pin connector with 3 missing pins maybe?  Probably OK.  Post the model number for verification.  LCDs are almost always worse for old Amiga scandoublers than CRTs, you'd need an Indivision scandoubler for best results on LCD.

Could you possibly post up a photo of the connector on that monitor? It may be a 15-pin plug with 3 pins missing... Have you any other specs on it? If it's a decent quality CRT it will give you a great picture with a scandoubler, though you will get colour banding etc. if it's not made for AGA.

An LCD TV with RGB support on its SCART connection will perform quite well with a good-quality RGB-SCART cable.

That should have a standard VGA connector, fine with Amiga scandoublers.

@Amiga4000Freak
Under no circumstances should you use the Microway flickerfixer on your A4000.

You could use it on your A2000 but the Microway permabans PAL mode so you can't play PAL games on it. Doh! :furious:

I don't know anything about the other flickerfixer you mentioned.

I have been using a flickerfixer on my Amigas since about 1990.  Its my most favorite addon ever.

I wrote a whole series of games just for people who love their Amiga enough to feed it a flickerfixer. :knuddel:

The "Doh!" was directed at Microway not you. :)

It means that it was a lame design decision on their part to banish 90% of games and demos from working on it.
