Anyone in the U.S. happen to have a real nice/clean example laying around they'd like to sell?

Yup now't means nilsh, nada, nothing... :)

Just took a quick pic of it, is this the kind...

I never use them and they just sit around in boxes gathering dust, it wouldn't cost me much to post it to the US and I'll be happy if someone can find a use for it... :)

Awesome Franko, thanks! Yeah, I just got through refurbishing an A500. Now has 1mb of Chip RAM thanks to the super simple rev. 6 mod. Case was in real nice shape, but the keyboard was all yellowed. Coincidentally, I happened to have a busted but non-yellowed U.K keyboard that I swapped keys out and now she looks like new again. U.K. keyboard (kinda cool to have) and a now a "U.K." mouse  :)

And so the racket started. First 50gms in a mouse.  Next a hollowed out A500 power supply.  By year 2 he was shipping A2000s choc full of hash.....

Ya no stookie!

A deed well done Franko..!

Received the mouse today Franko - thanks much!!

Looks really nice and is super clean. Probably one of the first pieces of hardware I've gotten in decades that didn't need a total refurb job. You must have never or hardly ever used the thing!

Meke sure the gunk on the rollers is cleaned off or they might just think it's hashish... ;-)

No gunk that I could see! I'm tellin' you... thing looks that good!

That reminds me though: Franko, the tape that was over the flap of the USPS box was cut and wasn't that hard to pry open. The adhesive they use usually puts up more of a fight. Unless you re-opened it to slip that note in, I bet customs took a quick look inside at some point.

Wow that was quick... it was only posted on the 11th (after the wee mistake my sister made)... :)

It was a spare one from my old A1500 that I bought somewhere around 90-91, only ever used it a couple of times... :)

If I'm sending something to someone it always get a thorough clean inside and out as one of my pet hates is when I buy stuff from eBay only to find their absolutely minging (especially keyboards) with more crumbs, pet hairs, fluff and dirt inside them than the contents of a vacuum cleaner...

No it was still properly sealed when it left here... I was going to put some Scottish Macaroons Bars in for a laugh, but they don't usually get past customs when I try to send them to my sister in Portland... :)

I think the custom guys at your end must be real fat buggers with all the candy that's gone missing over the years I've tried to send... :)
