FS: Amiga 4000 $350USD
« on: April 16, 2011, 04:02:56 AM »
Selling an A4000. Has:

8Mb of Fast
20GB HDD
Floppy Drive
CD-ROM Drive
3.1 ROMs
Rev. 3.1 A3640
Buster Rev. 11

Includes Amiga 4000 Keyboard, Joystick and Amiga mouse and VGA -> RGB Adaptor.

It has a fresh install of WB 3.1, working WHD-Load install with playable games (you provide your own key) and some productivity software. This is a perfect A4000 unit for you to add some Zorro cards or just use as a games machine. I am asking $350 obo for this unit, I would prefer local pickup, but I will ship inside USA only. Please feel free to ask me any questions. Local pickup includes a Commodore 1960 monitor!

I'm willing to make an offer, but...

a Local pickup might mean you will have to disclose what city (at least) in CA.
Since I am in Sacramento....local will not mean san diego, la, stockton, sf...
all cities hours and hours away.

SACC-guy  (Michael)

other questions:
battery removed (any battery damage?)?
caps replaced?
case yellowed?
manuals included?
os disks included?

Yes, I am in the LA area.

other questions:
battery removed (any battery damage?)? Battery removed, very slight corrosion, no damage
caps replaced? Caps are stock
case yellowed? Case is still white
manuals included? No Manuals
os disks included? WB 3.1 Included

Also keyboard is rekeyed with new keys. I will take some pics and post them up in a bit. It also has a buster rev. 11. I can always add in cards for RTG or anything like that, but it will up the price a bit.

I had an Amiga 4000 a little over 10 years ago that I sold due to financial reasons. It went for $400 on eBay at that time. So, yeah this is a good deal.

Ah, well... I still have my little A1200 that needs some lovin'. Now I if could just find a new floppy for it. Might just mod it.

Definately a good deal.  I paid more than $400 for a A4000 like that which was missing the keyboard and had 3.0 ROMs.

It makes me wonder whether the looming release of the FPGA Arcade is starting to impact on the prices of A4000s and A1200s, especially as you really need to already own an Amiga monitor or you're willing to buy a Scan Doubler to use it.
A2000, A3000, 2 x A1200T, A1200, A4000Tower & Mediator, CD32, VIC-20, C64, C128, C128D, PET 8032, Minimig & ARM, C-One, FPGA Arcade... and AmigaOne X1000.
