Here the official Amiga.org way to remove your account, seems fair & reasonable to me... :)

Amiga.org User Policy

Might have to wait a wee while, so just sit back and don't post anything for this short time and bobs your uncle you will be deleted... :D

Yeah, we really need to update that as it should happen alot sooner. Like,"When the Earth has grown cold and the Sun has turned red or in about 5 billion years." Hmm, probably should keep the original wording. We might be hosted off planet by then.

Is there something in the user agreement here when I signed up that says that I don't have the right to have my account deleted?. That seems kind of wrong.

You want your account deleted because of the CommodoreUSA news? I can disable your account now if you like. Deleting all your posts might corrupt the database so this not a good course of action.
Posts on this account before August 4th, 2012 don\'t belong to me.

No don't disable it. I'll just do what Karlos suggested. There are a lot of good people here but this place is being over run with a small group of folks that are going on a path that I strongly don't agree with. Time to move on........

So, you are going to poison the pot by manually deleting all of your posts. Brilliant! Moth holed topics.

Don't do that, mate. This is the Amiga user community. You'll never get more than half a dozen of us in one place at once to agree on what day of the week it is, let alone what the direction of our platform shod be. It has never been any different since the original commodore went under. If you made it through the next gen fights, this is nothing. If that argument doesn't sway you then consider the fact that by leaving, you're only helping this "small group" by leaving.
Personally, I reckon it's best to let each to their own. The CUSA stuff doesn't rouse my interest, but to others it may.

If you really want it to improve you could just tell them to shut up. If everyone did it it would be a problem :)

Hi,

@spihiunter,

Hope I am not one of those small group of folks, if I am sorry to cause you a problem.

I look at it this way, Karlos causes me a problem just about every time I get on here, he ruins all my fun, maybe one of these days I will ask how to remove his profile.

smerf
I have no idea what your talking about, so here is a doggy with a small pancake on his head.

Karlos vs Smerf!

Let's get it on. I wonder who will win? I bet Smerf 2/1.

spihunter banned?  WTF!

And what is up with all the freaking yellow water squirting lately?  Is it Aorg's fault that CUSA is out there and that some members have a hard-on (good or bad) for them?

FFS, grow a pair and put on some big boy undies.

There has always been a wealth of information to be had here at A.org, as with all sites (forums) indifference to various subject matter can create some hostilities amongst is members.  It is how we choose to engage the indifference's that make or break the A.org experience.  As for leaving a site just because some cannot play well with others is not enough for me to leave a great Amiga site.  I'm staying!!!!!!:hammer:

Hi,

@Firedawg

I'm with you, I am staying.

Just because Karlos doesn't play nice, I won't leave.

Hi Karlos

Are we having fun yet.
