« on: April 02, 2011, 09:03:10 AM »
Hi

I've been browsing the site for a while.

Amiga History

A600
A1200 WB3.5 apollo accelerator cdrom
A1200 WB3.1 (used twice)
Cd32

Currently running amiga forever on my pc.

Looking forward to digging out my old software.

Just purchased catweasel and a new accelerator card.

Well i'm keen but limited funds.

Hoping to get blitz basic running wouldn't work  in amiga forever.
Still got to fit my new accelerator. Must need to alter the metal shielding as it won't fit as is.

Welcome to the NutHouse... :)

Wow... your almost close enough to the border to make me not insult you... :D

PS:Hope you weren't one of the ones bidding against me on eBay recently to get your new accelerator card... ;)

Hope you get everything up and running and enjoy your real Amiga's once again... :)

It just occurred to me that I *assumed* he meant Newcastle Upon Tyne. He could equally have meant Newcastle Under Lyme.

However, I'm sticking to the former ;)

Welcome along! That'll be a nice little setup there, I'd recommend getting WHDLoad to install those floppies on a hard drive / flash card and save a lot of waiting for things to load :)

Blitz shouldn't be too tricky to get running anywhere - it ran first go on my A1200/030, a WinUAE setup, and under OS4... And it's even developed under UAE. You could post a message on the forum at amiforce.de if you need help, they're very helpful over there :)
