And don't get me started on your country causing the recession......it wasn't Labour, it wasn't the bankers, it was the American's.....so there :roflmao:

I agree with this. Americans did invent capitalism after all. Their obsession with goods sent the whole world bankrupt.

For the record i look at America the same way i look at Apple - nothing but marketing puff. I know perfectly well that Americas economy is the biggest in the world and that it is also the weakest. That doesn't sound like "The worlds most powerful empire in history" to me :)

Thanks for the virtual online drama all! In the time it took to read this entire thread, I had my dinner. Leftover green bean casserole w/ french onions on top, in case anybody was wondering. Good stuff. Anyway, this was much more entertaining than sitting in front of the tele, watching Springer or some other trashTV.

Time to go play with my MorphOS setup now. I'll be sure to tune back in in a little while. On my MacMini equipped MorphOS. With wireless keyboard, mouse and internet. On the HDTV big screen, that hangs on the wall. Yep, we Americans are the greatest *consumers* of all. I fixed that phrase for you Kesa.  ;)

Nonsense. Everyone knows pineapples are the key to economic growth throughout the world. It's either that or the big mac.

Relax was at number one for 5 weeks and good old auntie beeb banned it for the using the words "when you want to come"... ;)

Wonder if they'd changed the words to "when you want to have an involuntary pelvic contraction" if it would have been allowed on Top Of The Pops... :D

Hehe I think the Two Tribes was something to do with the cold war during the 80s, there was like Gorbachov or whatever, the guy with the splodge on his forehead fighting in the ring and world figures of the time. Shame they stopped short of including a Maggie Thatcher look-a-like in the video, if I was there I'd kick the living daylights out of her.  What a battleaxe she was, f***ed the country good and proper for decades to come.

Ah well.. like I said night!

Frank has an uncanny ability to really get on the nerves of those who fall within the Autistic Spectrum of Disorders.

Franko doesn't get on my nerves, I find him funny and light hearted with a real love for Amigas.

Cammy

That is all well and good but his thread hijacking and CONSTANT clowning is annoying. The only reason I got into with him is because he started making false accusations about me.

**sigh** I've got a headache. Thread is a little OT for this forum, shouldn't this be in the CH? ;-) What gets to me is the Country bashing, we're all adults are we not? Especially feel down when I fellow kiwi is running around using the term "yanks".

To be honest all the personal attacks, false truths it all starts to feel like a school playground.

Thought we were all here to discuss, promote and help with all things Amiga, or has the brief changed along the way?

I'm all for a chuckle now and then, so don't mind the Franko posts. But let us all be gentlemen (or ladies) and shake hands and move on? :-)

Anyway my A590 shall be reborn, 2MB RAM, 7.0 ROMS. Some power cable modding to come today when I get home due to the annoying newer PCB having a molex connector instead of the previous Commodore made up one. Fingers crossed I don't kill the SCSI drive LOL :-)

A shame I can't use the entire 37GB of the SCSI drive ;-)

If all goes to plan just leaves my RAM expansion woes haha :-) Ahh it's all good fun.

I don't believe that anybody actually finds franko's antics humorous. How many times do you have to see an insult followed up by a smiley face before it gets seriously old? How many times does franko have to take a dump in the forum before people stop patting him on the back trying to make peace?

I believe I instantly got tagged as a lap dog just because I agreed with magnetic. But that is ok. Retro_71 and fishy_fiz are Franko's slaves. Just found it too hilarious when both of them tried to be all high n mighty thinking they are better. But thats ok, i really dont care for them.

Today I spent sand blasting some trailing arms for my car to do a rear disc conversion. Quite fun and productive.  :)

Cool, I'm working on a drum to disc converstion on my car project. Was working on door panels yesterday. What model are you working on?

Figure the threads shot full of holes already, so might as well go for the automotive category for a minute. ;)

Wayne, please come back and right this sinking ship!

Using the ignore list is the only way I can tolerate this forum site any more, but even that isn't enough to clean up the crap that is going on here lately and I find myself visiting here once every couple of days, instead of 3 to 6 times a day like I used to do.
How are you helping the Amiga community? :)
