You're all a bunch of clowns as far as Im concerned. (franko, magnetic, kd7ota). Kd7ota in particular stands out as patheric in this particular thread though. Sure spends a lot of time talking about the thing he says he isnt worth his time.

Near as I can tell this is where I write something under the guise of being innocuous, but really its a pot shot at another persons/peoples choice of Amiga based systems. Unfortunately only I cant see how transparent and petty it makes me look.

I guess it all comes down to what you want from your Amiga. The a3k/a4k option is obviously more powerful (even vs an a1200 system upgraded to the same specs), and has the advantage of easier access to rtg/rta, whose influence and speed gains are quite substantial vs aga. The difference really is like chalk and cheese, not just in the potential graphics quality, but the speed. Granted you lose aga with an a3k, but Id take easier, non hacky rtg over aga any day if it was my only amiga.

Moi... causing a ruckess... thought I was just having a nice wee conversation with my mother here... :)

I think the red X on me pic must be the Mr Hyde side of me who's figured out how to get on the net using one of me old left over miggies and now I have to do battle with him till the potion wears off and I/He/Me/We returns to our normal sane selves again..:)

Oh yes I do just ask folk on the AmiBay & Lemon forums about your ripping folk off for years now and I know who I'd believe... :D

Tell you what if you want to make threats at me give me your address and I'll pay you a visit when I'm over in the USA late this summer visiting family in Portland, we'll see who get's a right beating then... ;)

While a 3000 or 4000 is very expandable, it'll also cost him at least 200 bucks extra (and thats aiming low). Throw in a ton of money to get upgrades for it.

He already stated he wanted to expand his 1200, so why not point him in the right directions there? :)
Especially if he's on a budget

I made a wee list up at the beginning of the thread on what RedNova should be looking to buy if he really wants to expand his A1200... :)

But we really need to know what he aims to do with it in order to advise him on the best way to go... :)
