Make offer that can't be refused. 3000D
« on: March 24, 2011, 01:58:13 AM »
Credits to AmigaDave for the idea.

I *might* be interested if the price is right.

I have to say this will be the cleanest 3000D you will ever find.  I have been the only owner and purchased it as one of the last batches from Commodore.  I went to great extremes to put only the very best (imho) into the box.

I would like to sell to someone who would cherish it as much as I have all these years.  Now I rarely have the time to turn it on.  I have spent countless hours over the years to keep it in the perfect state that it is in.

I would only consider selling it loaded and am not interested in parting in out.

It is a very fast performing amiga, and 100% stable.  Between the Warp Engine, Retina Z3, Quantum Atlas, and Ariande it truly twists along.  I also used it to answer my phones for about 6 years straight without a single crash.

Here are the stats of the complete system:

* Original box and manuals for most everything.
* Case and Keyboard are in perfect condition, zero yellowing, etc.
* Motherboard is perfectly clean.  Battery replaced a few times well in advance of when it would've needed it.
* High Density Floppy Disk Drive
* Int2 performed.
* All chips are the latest rev.
* 20 Gig Quantum Atlas 10k SCSI Drive (with 68 to 50 adapter - Formated in latest PFS3)
* Warp Engine 3040 68040@40MHz with 64 mb ram. (Fits perfect with no hacking and the NCR SCSI II flies)
* Retina BLT Z3 with 4 mb ram
* Ariandne NIC card
* GVP Phone Pak - Amazing phone system card with really advanced features.
* 3.1 Roms
* External (matching A3k looks) external SCSI case for backup.

As with the hardware I only purchased the best software to complete the package:
* PFS3
* Oxypatcher
* Turbo calc
* Turbo Print
* OS 3.9
* Final writer
* Superbase
* Ibrowse
* Pagestream (latest version, don't remember number right now :))
* 100 or so original games about half in original boxes

I probably am missing other important items... This is a start to see *if* I can part with it and if there is any real interest in this stuff.

PM me for serious offers...

We have heard this before. A picture is worth a 1000 words, right? My bet would be more...
A2000 GVP 40MHz \'030, 21Mb RAM SD/FF, 2 floppies, internal CD-ROM drive, micromys v3 w/laser mouse
A1000 Microbotics Starboard II w/2Mb 1080, & external floppy (AIRdrive)
C-128 w/1571, 1750, & Final Cartridge III+

Well stated and a valid point (I'm with you on the number of words :) ).  I will get around to taking pictures when I can get sometime on the weekend.
