Amiga Cache of Minnesota!!! Raymond Computer is Liquidating.
« on: March 14, 2011, 08:35:58 PM »
Raymond is looking to fit in a smaller place. I want to make sure all you have a crack at some of the things that may be real treasures.

Heres a video of what the current warehouse looks like.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRfr93PCMAU

Heres the persone posting the listings from there.

http://shop.ebay.com/cellarsites/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686

Its a pretty huge cache.  Theres even more than I videoed.  Sorry the video isn't the greatest.  Its hard to move around in there.  I'm doing alot of the cataloging.  So if there is an item you want bumbed up the list to make it to ebay faster let me know on amibay at on this thread

http://www.amibay.com/showthread.php?p=153117

I want to see these goodies make it to people that will actully love them.

I don't get a say on pricing so I can't help you there but I can make things get listed faster.

Thanks too all who help me on here hope you get what you want

Thanks for posting! I've got a Commodore buddy on another forum that's been looking for a 1541c drive. I'll forward that to him. -edited-  Turns out he's looking for the model with the flip down lever, as signified on the box. What's inside that box is the traditions 1541 latch style. Oh well, was worth a shot!

BTW: I'm always on the lookout for A1000 stuff if he has anything like this laying around: AdIDE, internal RAM, Kickstart adapters, etc.

Also, may be interested in a C128d if the price and condition were right...

All interest as to things you want me to look for must be stated on the Amibay site.  I'm just the cataloger.  However what I catalog goes on ebay right after.  So if theres something you want to see hit sooner go on amibay to the link and request something get posted sooner.  I will do my best to server in the order things are requested.

I do appoligise for the video, it isn't easy moving around there its VERY crowded.  I will be doing some more video on sat.  Mostly Software and books but I will try to get some more video that shows what he has.

The place is so huge and theres so many things that are in boxes The video was just mainly to give people a sence of how much there is here.

If your looking for something spicific I will try to find it for you and catalog it so you can get it sooner.  Please make your requests on the Amibay site.

His prices for the Amiga stuff are pretty high. $99 for a PCMCIA Ethernet card? $250 for a Prometheus? You can buy a Subway from Amigakit for less than he is asking for it.

I was a little surprised at the high prices also.  In my past dealings with Raymond Computers I thought things were priced kind of reasonable.  I guess he's not in a big hurry to downsize because if those prices are any indication of the prices that will be coming it will take a L...O...N...G time to downsize.
