I don't regret selling any of my 1200s, not even the one I went at with gray vinyl dye and installed a CDTV keyboard in.

The only one I miss a bit is the 3000T.
3 Commodore file cabinets, 2 Commodore USB turntables, 1 AmigaWorld beer mug
Alienware M14x i7 laptop running AmigaForever

I'm the exact opposite, I don't miss any of the big box stuff (A1500, A3000 or A4000) all I own now and for at least the past 10 years are A1200s, once expanded to the max or towered up they to me are the best Amigas CBM ever created... :)

Couldn't agree with you more on that one, it's costing me a small fortune right now replacing all the stuff from eBay that I sold or gave away over the years, lesson learned, never again... :)

Actually, while we are on the subject of price speculation... how much is a WarpEngine 4040 worth?

Well, that's what Im trying to find out really. I am using a supported pcmcia network card with MiamiDX, and it's been far from simple. If I knew why I was having these problems then I wouldnt be starting these threads.
Near as I can tell this is where I write something under the guise of being innocuous, but really its a pot shot at another persons/peoples choice of Amiga based systems. Unfortunately only I cant see how transparent and petty it makes me look.

Don't do anything hasty.  It sounds like you're in a hacked off mood and nobody ever makes good decisions when they're hacked off.  Especially when they're tight for money as well.

I sold a monster of an A1200 system a few years back for just that very reason - my MiamiDX config crashed (for some reason it had a habit of doing that, every once in a while) and I was having trouble getting it working again, and at the same time I was going through a rough patch with my finances.

I sold the miggy.  I got a fantasic price for her, but if you ask me now whether I think it was a good idea?

NO.  I wish I hadn't sold my old miggy that I spent years perfecting into the absolute flagship of Amiga1200 setups.
I wish I still had my old Amiga.

So, my advice to you is; take a break from it and leave it be for a while.  Then, if you still want to sell her, your decision will be made.  But don't make the decision while you're in a foul mood!
