SCSI was optional on the Phoenix, as far as I can tell. The SCSI controller chip is just a standard NCR 5380, but without the PAL and the auto boot ROM, it's not going to do you much good.
So who's got the PAL and auto boot ROM? Kickstart 1.3 just had a conference call with Kickstart 3.1 and both said they auto boot. Wait, that's still not good enough? lol
A majority (the 500-1000 alleged Phoenix owners out there) of these users did NOT have the SCSI port active? Again, all of the literature claimed it came standard for $850.
And there were discrete PAL and NTSC boards? No jumper setting for Agnus to default to one or the other? How about software switching between modes like on all other Amiga computers?
