Amiga Media Center(AMC)- buy 1 get 3 - sort of ; )

We are glad to announce that purchasing AMC once means you get 3 licenses. This way you can install it for example 1x on AROS, AmigaOS and MorphOS (still in progress). Just run the registration process again on another hardware and send the resulting .rgs-files to activation@a-mc.biz

The only thing you have to take care of is that the activation-file will be personalized so don't share it.  

If you don't know what AMC is... it is a Media Center application like Apple's Frontrow, Geexbox and XBMC.

Organise and consume music, videos and photos
Listen to web-radio or watch Web-TV (including recording)

Supporting USB-Remotes.

I am not one of those guys that hunt post counts or street cred, I 'm here for the fun.

PS: With a 30.00 Euros asking price, they are asking for it. Seriously, code for everything media-center related is already freely available (yes, i know, under GPL, but you can always move around some stuff inside the code and make it yours), so all these guys did was repackage stuff. 30.00 Euros per copy is too much IMO.

Well if the asking price is too much don't buy it.   No need to steal it.  If you can make it yourself from the GPL code, do it or shut the fuck up.

To echo JJ, if its too much simply dont buy it, but to suggest it needs to be stolen 'cos you dont like the asking price is ludicrous. There's plenty of things Id like, but just cos theyre too expensive doesnt mean its ok to steal it. Also, its far from "repackaged stuff". Sure, some of the stuff it uses is pre-existing, but there's plenty of stuff in there that's coded from scratch.
As for "being here for the fun", the content/attitude of your posts suggests you have a pretty different definition of "fun" than most people.

Near as I can tell this is where I write something under the guise of being innocuous, but really its a pot shot at another persons/peoples choice of Amiga based systems. Unfortunately only I cant see how transparent and petty it makes me look.
