Any Game creating kits for Amiga 4.X ?
« on: February 24, 2011, 02:07:33 PM »
Hey all,

Was wondering if there was a games creating kit, kinda like the one they have for the PS2 - RPG Maker I think it's called, for Amiga OS 4.X ? It'd be pretty cool to see what kind of games people could make. I'm asking for something like this, because I have no programming skills, nor do I wish to learn how to programming. Can't get into it at all. . .

Foody aka Atheist has been working on one. It's currently in .Net but he could probably be persuaded to port it to OS4. More info and screenshots here:

I'm assuming you're referring only to lower-level programming, but I just have to say this for the record: you aren't going to make any kind of worthwhile game without some kind of programming involved. You might find a pre-built system with a less technically-involved scripting language, but you will have to do some programming.

Just thought it was worth noting.
