Amiga E-book released (sort of)
« on: December 15, 2003, 05:37:31 AM »
This e-book is in PDF format.  I wanted to do an AmigaGuide format version... that would give it an Amiga flair, without question... but couldn't get it done.  So, in order to do this by Christmas, I'm just releasing the PDF version.   Most Amigan's have PDF readers, but unfortunately so do PC u sers.  Anyway, its only licensed for the Amiga community to read for free.

The book is a modern day fairy tale about spiritual renewal in Russia.

It's available in the downloads section of my website, in the category 'Amiga Computers'

It's a gift to the Amiga community only.  The license is for any one to read it for their own personal use, on any Amiga computer or any computer, even a PC, if its owned by a reader of an Amiga community portal.

I am the copyright holder, so don't copy it :-)

I will leave it there, for anyone who is interested, until the end of December.

go here:
Delfania

I don't expect that everyone who is a fan of Amiga computers, is also a fan of Russian Mystics, but wouldn't that be a wild coincidence?

 :-D

Anyway, I said a long time ago, I was going to do this...and now I have.

Cheers

thanks for registering effy.

yes, probably you didn't get a mail, because my server has been blacklisted.

oh it wasn't me, but I'm on a shared server, and someone else must have been running a spam operation from this same IP address.

I've been getting some bounced mails :-(

more info: I know comcast is blocking e-mails, I wonder who else?

Turns out comcast blocks e-mails from certain IP addresses.  My service provider, one-webhosting is one of them.

I'm trying to get them to admit it now.  I know they do, it says so in the e-mail when they bounce back, but they don't admit it on the phone, for whatever reason.  Looks like I will have to be moving servers...dreck.
