Amiga rack goodies

Hi,
 
I am considering selling my Amiga 1200 setup.
 
It is in a customised 1u slimline rack and has been significantly upgraded.
 
It has Amigamaniac SVHS adaptor (for flicker free display on lcd tv's), USB mouse adaptor, 2 gigabyte flash card, ide to compact flash adaptor, a Blizzard 1230 68030 50mhz (with 50mhz 6882 processor) with 64 megabytes of ram, pcmcia network card and a ps2 keyboard adaptor.
 
It has a genuine Amiga OS 3.9 CD and a whdload key.
 
Ideally I would like to post within Australia with Australian Air Express (at buyers expense) and will be well packed.  This Amiga has been well looked after.
 
How much would someone be prepared to pay for it?  
 
Second I have an Amiga CD32 with a Competition Propad that is in excellent condition (no crack in lid, etc).  It has no power supply but I have bought a modified molex power supply that seems to power it okay (once again from Amigamaniac).
 
How much would someone be prepared to pay for a CD32?
 
Just curious to see what interest there would be in these items before they possibly go on ebay?
 
I am happy to upload a video of both items if required.

You should get a good price on Ebay, Amiga stuff is very rare now in Oz. I think you'll get at least $1000 for it, maybe even $1500.

Well I don't really want to sell it on ebay, I'd rather it go to the Amiga Community.
 
I was thinking $200 + postage for the Amiga CD32 with the competition pro game pad and some CD's.
 
For the Amiga 1200 I was thinking around $450 to $550 + postage

I disagree. There has been someone on ebay trying to sell his A1200 for a bit over $500 for several months and no one wants it. I feel bad for him because it's really quite nice. He had it painted black and everything. No way someone will pay $1000 or $1500 for any Amiga.

$500 or thereabouts sounds about right for the a1200. The cd32 sounds a bit pricey though to be honest, unless there's a bunch of original games with it, in which case its probably about right as well. If you're willing to split it up I'll take the blizzard card off your hands for the right price    (just got a hold of my first a1200 in a few years and have been desperately searching for an accelerator)

While $1000-$1500 was way over the top, that black a1200 you speak of wont sell for $500 simply beause its nothing more than a stock a1200 painted black. I have absolutely no sympathy for him as he's one of those scumbags that buys up amiga gear cheaply and tries selling it at a ridiculous prices. The a1200 the OP has mentioned has a few nice little upgrades, ergo is worth about $500

I do not plan on leaving the Amiga community, I have Amiga Forever 11 and an PPC Mac mini 1.5gigahertz which I'm planning on getting Morphos.
 
As I said I'd rather these go to a good Amiga home than to ebay rippers!

Isn't nostalgia and human sentiment what gives almost any physical object monetary value in this world?  Nostalgia is just another way of assigning human desire to a physical object, and once that's done an otherwise useless item has real worth (paintings, diamonds, gold, old cars, fur coats, beany babies, etc. etc.) - in that you can get someone to pay for it.

So, monetary value derived from nostalgia is still real value.

It's not like the Amiga is unique in this regard.  Very few things in our society are actually are intrinsically worth what they are bought and sold for.
