Im not rich, but I do have spare cash occasionally to pick up some things. It helps that my job has a pretty good bonus potential each month

I'm freaking swimming in cash over here!. My house is just like that Bugs Bunny cartoon where Daffy is doing the backstroke through all the gold. I'm going to buy 10 Amiga      X1000's when they come out and use them as door stops!

This Poll and Thread justifies why most other forum sites do not allow all users to set up Polls.

I am seriously wondering why I bother visiting here any more.

My "play" money is limited, what with mortgages, kids, travel etc all competing for some of my cash, so I try to get the most "bang for my buck" as well as be able to try out new toys.

For example I just bought an Android tablet to play with for what amounts to small money in the Amigaworld.  It'll give me a nice portable UAE platform and a place to test out apps as I want to start developing for Android as well as iOS.  I love Amiga but I love the 21st Century technology as well.

I believe I'm wealthy in many ways, faith, love of family, and health.  As to a wealth pertaining to green backs, that is totally speculative from one day to the next as my expenses with 3 kids in school, all socially active and two driving parent subsidized vehicles weigh very heavy on a very tight budget which does not lend itself to many Amiga purchases.  

I afford my Amiga hobbies by sacrificing in other addictive areas of expenditures such as crack, meth, alcohol, weed to name a few.  So, occasional I can afford to obtain some hardware or software to play with.

Not sure if I answered the poll directly as to my prior comments so I will do so now.......

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:laughing:

Thanks for reminding me of my current situation.  Back to the man cave. BYE.

Exactly.

Where's the "None o' yer feckin business!!!" option? ;-)

If you must know I'm a student, so, guess. :-) I've had to be pretty frugal to own the items I have now so... might even sell my 1260 cos it's not getting much use, that's about the most i've paid for an Amiga item ever.

To blow £1000 on an A1200/4000 PPC accelerator to play Wipeout 2097 (something you can do with a $5 Playstation) you DO have to be loaded/crazy/both.

Would I sell one of my cars to own an A4000 with a PPC card to run OS4.1 classic? Nope the lobotomy was cancelled at the last minute so I have the car still and no PPC A4000 :)
