Flicker Fixer

Hey All, first time poster,

Was just wondering, I currently have an A600 connected to a 1080p TV via a 23pin to scart cable, which gives quite a nice picture.  I've  seen a flicker fixer for about £80 - my question would be, would this give the same quality of signal as you see on Winuae on the pc?  Also, would it enable me to plug it into my 1080p TV via the VGA input and work properly regardless of my TVs settings such as refresh rate and hor/vert scan rate?

If you're only using it to play games, I'd probably leave well enough alone. And yes, you wouldn't have to worry (much) about scan rates and the like with a good/modern FF/SD such as the Indivision AGA or ECS. When you asked about VGA.... thing is, do you really want your Amiga to look blocky and drab compared to the way you're used to viewing it now? I prefer the look of the Amiga through its normal 15khz output and rarely ever use the built-in FF/SD on my A3000. If you're doing something more productive, or would like a higher-rez Workbench, then you may indeed want a FF/SD down the road and the Indivision models are the best IMO. They allow you to take advantage of higher resolution screen modes as well as emulating scan lines if you like.

Still, I'm envious of you guys with S-cart cables and modern TV's that sync down to 15khz.
