For folks local to me (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, Morisville, Fuquay Varina, etc) Price reduced to 200 dollars. You get to try it out in person and I'll guarantee it for 30 days. I'm moving to Texas and this sucker needs to go.

Point taken, I should just put OSX on it and donate it. As far as MOS license goes, I asked about that months ago and Piru said it was tied to the machine. I'm not put off buying another license for a new machine but yea, it's kind of shitty to have to toss a license.

Why don't you ship it? Grab a big box, put a bit of styrofoam around the thing and call FedEx, DHL, #? to pick it up at your door.Takes maybe about half an hour of work to pack the thing.
Or: pull out the mobo and take that one with you. Once you arrived in Texas tinker a custom thing out of the eMac mainboard. Putting it to the dumpster or discarding the license is IMHO rather stupid and unnecessary. There are options if you really *want*.

I live in the Southern United States and we just throw shit we don't want into the woods if it comes to that.

100 dollars and it's yours. If you are in my area you get to take it for a spin. If it's not sold by friday I'll load OSX on it and toss it to my local church thrift shop. When I get situated in Austin TX, I'll buy a new PPC mac and get a new license.

Why? You could have dumped it off at the UPS store, told them to box it up and ship -- I would have paid your all shipping expenses plus $100 for your drive to the local UPS store.
