« on: December 11, 2003, 08:17:40 PM »
Dont know a think about Amiga just got 3 I wanna test & play a bite with.. But the problem is that the wires on the power supply has been cut so I have no idea where to put them. I already know which wires delivers +5v -12v & +12v and what pins they should be connected to... But what Pin in the power connector is pin 1...2...3...4 & 5 ???

Have you checked the BBoAHW? Here

The Ports and Pinouts page should solve your problem.

It only shows the pins from the powersupply not how the pins are connected at the amigas power connector at the other end...

The pins on the power supply plug mate with the holes in the power connector on the Amiga 500.  Just follow it thru and draw it on paper to help you visualize it.  You can also make your own "BigFoot" power supply by soldering the wires from the Amiga 500s power supply plug to the appropriate wires on a PC switching power supply.  Then you would have about 350 Watts to power all of your Amiga 500 needs.     :-D
