Guys, you are my opposites, I like adventure, you like strategy (and RPG). All I ever played strategy wise
were Megalomania (Amiga, and I think it was strategy, must've been), Civilization AGA (A1200) and Railroad Tycoon (PC - 486). They were really fun but I got kinda impatient after those. RPG ? well, what was it's name "Black Crypt" I believe. My friend liked RPGs alot, notably Dungeon Master, EYe of The Beholder and the like. I liked to watch but not play. I tried getting into them through "Black Crypt" (?) since it looked interesting for me, but it just didn't happen. I think Point'n'Click adventure games are my top favorite genre, have always loved them and still do.
I forgot to mention emulation, of course I do play from time to time, who can not ? Not so much Arcade anymore, mostly NES, SNES, Genesis (Mega Drive), and of course Amiga. On nintendo systems It's mostly the Zelda series. On SEGA it's usually some random platformer. On Amiga again platformer as that's what I had most of and feel most nostalgic about (P'n'C adventure games (except for monkey island 1) are better played in ScummVM). One of my favs was Prophecy: the Viking Child (lol), somewhat obscure game only ruined by the insanely primitiv jumping "physics": First up, then down with no acceleration whatsoever. The atmosphere and music was pretty sweet.
It won't do - nothing does when its in the coffee house forums. You might want to speak to a mod about shifting it to a more suitable location outside of the coffee house
I PM'd Karlos, thanks!
