C-lehti (finnish) MikroBitti; (also, lots of Amiga besides PC stuff in early 90's) CU Amiga, Amiga Format, The One, Amiga Plus (german) Amiga Magazin (?, german) AmigActive, Clubbed/TotalAmiga, Amiga Future...probably I missed some  -well, Amiga Shopper some issues, Amiga Action  and Amiga Power, too...
Still have them all...

ST/Amiga Format - Anyone remember that?
then Amiga Format once the magazine split :)

ISTR one coverdisk which was both Amiga and ST formatted. IIRC the Amiga side had a demo of Rick Dangerous where he was a baby. How did they do that, put two disk formats on the one floppy?

It's weird reading these issues. I find myself remembering the articles and ads even though it's been 15+ years since I read them. It makes me miss the Amiga even more. :(

Didn't usually read many exclusively Amiga focused magazines. The magazines I used to read during the years I had my classics were:

 * Datormagazin (Swedish; focused a lot on the various Commodore products until the demise of Amiga forced them over to the dark side)
 * Norsk DatorMagazin (short-lived Norwegian version of DatorMagazin - even had a short article printed in it)
 * Commodore Computing International
 * IC/Run (Danish; mostly Commodore/Amiga focused during the time I read it)

I did occasionally buy Amiga Format, Amiga Shopper and CU Amiga as well, but most of these magazines seemed too games focused for me (CCI sort of was too, but I started reading it in my C64 days when my interests were more oriented towards the games). Also a few issues of Compute's Gazette and Run.

British and US magazines are/were extremely expensive in Norway where I grew up (often 2-3 times as expensive as they'd be in their home markets), so I couldn't buy all that many of them. The only other computer magazine I've ever bought with any regularity has been the now defunkt Dr Dobbs Journal (the website still lives, but in its glory years it was *the* software developer magazine)...

I grew up in Denmark. THere were two.. one I dont remember, and another called "Det Nye Computer" which was great, until they ditched all the amiga stuff without a word or warning, changed their name to "Privat Computer" and lost every ounce of fun and good writing they had ever had.

Are you sure you didn't just buy a different magazine by mistake?

Just out of interest which Amiga magazine did you buy, and why? I bought CU Amiga which was excellent. Bought Format a few times but not as good as CU Amiga in my opinion.:)

Oh man. You got me all teary eyed again.

I bought CU Amiga every issue that was available here in the Netherlands (and let me tell you, each issue cost an arm and a leg back then, but still worth every body part). I also bought Amiga Format when I had some extra cash. Them coverdisks, them coverdisks. Sigh....... I also remember skipping school one day somewhere around 1991/1992 and reading a stack of CU Amiga's all day a couple of blocks away from high school in the summer sun.

@motorollin: I miss them as well.

Amiga Format - MUCH preferred it to CU Amiga, just my opnion. However I liked both magazines and subscribed to them from very early on.

Sadly about 8 years ago I found myself homeless and in need of cash, lived with a friend for 6 months and had to get rid of the magazines, couldn't store them any longer.  Sold all the cover CDs on Ebay- my entire collection of EVERY Amiga Format, CU Amiga cover CD - not a single one missing, including the infamous CU Amiga TFX for AGA machines-scoop CD and a couple of CD32 games.  Makes me cry just to think about it.  Wish I never had parted with them now...I have a WinUAE monster-PC to use them on.

Ah well...

I usually subscribed to Amiga Computing/Amiga. But I usually bought CU Amiga and INFO. Also had a 'script to the American Amiga Computing when something else died...
INFO was the most honest of the bunch, but the CU Amiga CDs were good to great.

In the early to mid 90's, some of our bookstores and video game boutiques were getting foreign Amiga mags. I remember Amiga Format and their cover disks real well. $10 or more a pop though, so pretty pricey. I remember thinking the foreign Amiga mags looked too "busy" and cartoonish for my tastes, but they were fun for what they were - the 11x14 behemoths! lol

I'm with you on that one. When we started carrying UK mags at the store, I thought their layout was poor... sort of "fannish". Took a little while to get used to UK English vs American English. ;-)

...it'd be nice if someone came up with a complete listing of all Amiga mags in publication and where they were from at one time. I'm curious to see all the British and European 'zines that were around. Any from Australia or New Zealand? Okay, I'll start with all the ones I'm aware of in North America:

Ahoy!
Amazing Computing
Amiga Resource (Compute!)
AmiExchange
AmigaWorld
Info
The Transactor

There is a list at the Amiga wiki.. here.. http://www.amigawiki.com/cgi-bin/wiki.pl/Magazines
There were a lot of magazines that didn't last very long back in the Elder Days. I think the marketplace was overloaded.

Mainly Amiga Format here, with a few impulse buy CU Amiga.

I don't have the magazines any more, but what did I do with the CD's ? Time for a look in the loft [ Add to list of things to do this holiday !]
