Elbox's FastATA 1200 MK-III
« on: December 19, 2010, 05:41:32 PM »
Does anyone know if/when Elbox's will produce any more FastATA 1200 MK-III cards?  I'm looking to purchase 1 - 3 of them for my A1200s.  This card more than halves the time to burn a CD when the image is on the HD.

I see that their FastATA Z3 card for the A4000 is still available.

I use the FastATA MKIII too, it's the best A1200 IDE controller around, unfortunately Elbox no longer sell them and an email I sent them quite some time ago said that they were no longer available... :(

They can be found occasionally on ebay, but you end up paying silly prices for one when they appear... :(

Sad to hear. :(

If only AmigaKit would convince Elbox to make a run of these again...or even offer to buy the rights & PCB mask...

Maybe Jens Schoenfeld of Individual Computers could produce something similar??
