« on: December 10, 2010, 11:00:14 PM »
So, is it posible to use whdload when using 4.0?
Or is there another option to whdload?

whdload need to be rewritten and use an emulator for the hardbanging. then you can use it on aos4.0 but not before... i guess aos4.0 users have a long way to go to get whdload to work, but it is not impossible, they only need to find someone willing to code.

I'm assuming you're talking about OS4 on a Classic? Still most likely won't work.

On more powerful systems, the answer is UAE+WHDLoad. There are a few script wrappers that will launch the emulated environment and game directly from the OS4 Workbench.

: Check out RuninUAE and glUAE

I did a very basic Reboot Script with the idea of being able to start WHDload games from OS4 Classic, and thanks to Thomas for creating an exe -should be able to click directly on the WHDload icon. Info here

But theres so little interest in OS4 Classic I doubt it would be possible to refine and fully test it.
