Are the big Amiga emulation packs dying?
« on: December 10, 2010, 05:08:38 AM »
Last AmigaSYS 4 R1.3 update seems to be from 2009, the same happens with Amikit 1.59. Have those great projects stagnated, or are they unfortunately dead?

It has been more than a year, and lots of new stuff for both have appeared. Do any of you have a clue what is going on?

They have probably already added anything to their Distro thats worth it.
Or maybe they are waiting for AROS 68k to create full/free Packages.

A few days ago I donated a few euros to Amikit and I got a personal message from it's creator where he mentioned "next version" ... so it's not entirely death I guess.

Every now and then donating a few euros is motivating for these people to make updates and keeping their servers up you know ...
