A PC that looks like an Amiga, looks nice
« on: December 09, 2003, 01:22:14 PM »
Hi Guys

http://www.cybernetman.com/default.cfm/link/zero-footprint-pc.htm
If anyone wants a PC that looks like an Amiga, take a look at one of these. They been around for ages, and look nice and familiar.

Maybe Kees should put up a permanent link so people won't have to post this every six months.

lol very true indeed

The shape of it is more like a original C=64 modernized.  Ugly IMHO.   :whack:

Nice idea, but in practice it doesnt look that good. PCs should stick to looking like PCs, not trying to be a poor imitation of a great computer system!  :-D

I think the white version looks much better than the black version.

If I were forced to get one or got one free - I would choose the black one.  Keep the black keyboard.
Strip off the case and send it to a custom detail paint shop in hopes of coming with a paint job that would hide its ugly shape.

The A1200 is truely a sexier machine.   8-)

If it was updated with heatpipe technology, I could easily run AROS on this puppy and be very happy. =)

What is sad is that I have an Atari 600XL.
