That site is geared towards OS4. Why he doesn't rename it something more appropriate remains a mystery. Also not sure why Lemon Amiga is listed there.

I venture to guess the reason it was left out of the site is because, in general, any talk of AmigaOS4.x around these parts stirs up alot of flame wars and that's*not exactly inviting to old amigans coming back to the scene because of the new hardware announcements (X1000 & Sam4440/460).  Minimig, (hopefully soon Natami) are great new products and should be represented as well IMHO

@ klx300r.  That is not right. The Amiga community being small should be sticking together like this   :knuddel:

Not like     :griping:  or   :argue:   .

Also i notice they advertise a lot on here making announcements regularly. If they do ignore Amiga.org on purpose then i am willing to call that a bit arrogant    :madashell:

Out of curiosity how many users are actively involved with Amigaworld compared to Amiga.org? Which site is bigger?

ahh I agree whole heartedly but alas it's just to plain obvious to ignore that this unfortunately is not the case here at amiga.org lately:(

I, for one, would like to appologize if that's the impression you've received.
We all do offer/argue our own personal opinions (dare I say, prejudices), but I do believe there's more tolerence for alternative systems here than on other sites.

I use MorphOS, and while tired of AOS users' insistance that the use of the trademark "AmigaOS" offers them some level of superiority, I still welcome them to the mix and hope for the long term sucess of their market.

I can understand those that insist on continuing to use legacy systems (as they were some of the most invovative computers ever made), and I wholly hope the Minimig, Replay and Natami all carry register level compatibility into a new level of performance.

X86? AROS, a system I was unsure would survive is finally reaching full utility.

Where else on the web do you find posts covering all these systems?

OK, so times it looks like this :madashell: other times like this :griping: or this :hammer:, but underneath it all there IS some of this :knuddel:.

I did a complete binedit of a Windows 7 installation, replacing all occurances of "Windows" with "AmigaOS", so now I have AmigaOS 7 running on this PC of mine here.

Screw you all! :D

Who cares this site is designed so shitty I wouldn't bother to check back, regardless of content. It looks bad in IE, opera, and firefox.

Maybe because this site is geared towards Amiga, and not amigaone or amigaos? Some people are very picky when it comes to trademarks, and believe segregation is a good thing.
MorphOS is Amiga done right! :)
