These sockets often get cracked in A2000s.

If you look & find a crack, the easy (lazy) fix is to wrap a thin cable tie around the outside of it before installing the chip/expansion ;)

You've examined the pinout of both chips to see that no power & ground pins are swapped?

Thanks for the help everyone, I finally got it to work.  I believe I just needed to seat it better.  I will let you kjnow if I have any more problems.
