You just need to find "workbench.library" and add it to a regular set of 3.1 OS disks as I recall. It might be easier than trying to locate an entire set of 4000T install disks. The addition of this file was the only difference to the 4000T workbench disk set due to the lack of space for the file in the A4000T 40.70 ROM set.

Is this literally as simple as putting the Workbench.Library in the libs: folder?

any suggestion on how to get it in the libs directory? I have a Cd rom installed but the drivers arent running so I cant drag it from OS 3.9! there may be a easier way to do this but I'm burnt out! haha :madashell:

Thanks again guys!

Do you have a PC floppy?  Hopefully you have a high-density Amiga drive, if not, you'll need a double density formatted PC floppy.

If so, copy it onto the floppy instead of CD.  Setting up the CD on a 3.1 system is tough enough with it running.

Copy it onto the PC floppy.
Hold down both mouse buttons at boot to get the early startup screen.
Boot with no startup-sequence.
From the cli, mount PC0:, it should be in storage/dosdrivers
Put the PC floppy in and copy it from PC0: to the libs directory.

Then reboot.
