I didn't bother to vote until there was an AROS option, since I use (or rather test) AROS far more than the other options :)

Ditto, I voted for MorphOS when it was added as it's what I'm currently using the most due to having two old Macs to put it on.

Now that AROS 68k is getting some long deserved loving if I was asked the same question in a couple of weeks my answer might be different.

I didnt bother voting until new options were added.  Why would you ?

Perhaps he uses 3.9 mostly from the list of Amiga OS's first given to choose from, but now MOS has been added he has to change his vote as he uses MOS even more than he uses 3.9.

This is a different poll, but I'm not allowed to change my vote with the new options added. (In case you didn't notice, the new options are not Amiga OS)

See post 128.

I guess, despite all the changes in the poll, there is one conclusion to be drawn:

Nobody voted for AmigaOS 4.0, so it means that OS4 on Classics sucks bigtime compared to older OSes.

I wonder if this says anything about the viability of the forthcoming OS4.1 for Classics?

Let's add MorphOS 1.4.5 to the list of options eh? ;)

That'd be me actually :o

I figured it wasn't such a big deal anyway. Does anybody take these things that seriously?

I doubt that this poll reflects anything meaningful, if that's what you mean Karlos.

How about a poll on which OS posters use as a primary OS?

AOS4, AROS and MorphOS numbers would have to be higher with that, but you'd probably have to add Windows, Mac OS, asnd Linux options for many of those who post here that don't use an Amiga related OS on their primary system.

Ok, for all those people that are bothered that the poll was changed to include options they may have otherwise voted for and wish to have their votes recast, I have 2 options:

1) I make the poll anonymous so the inconsistency between names and counts is abrogated, users send me a PM to say what they would have voted for and I reassign their votes accordingly. It isn't voting in a new president, so a Bush style Florida vote remix is fine by me

2) I close the thread and open a new one with all the options already available and you can all cast your votes again.

Take your pick.

Number 2 but there better be pancakes!

Ok, two votes have been recounted, consequently the poll is now also anonymous.

Anybody else? Send me a PM...

I'm afraid there's no room. A poll has a maximum of 10 options and they are all used up.

It's a conspiracy I tell you!

I'm going to start a new forum called amigaexodusnumberthree.net in protest! ;)

COR Blimey... I nodded of for a few hours more than usual and come back to find all hell's broken loose... :whack:

I just hope that flak jacket your wearing Karlos is armour piercing shell proof as well as the bog standard bullet proof type... :uzi:

C'mon folks , hold the bus, whoa , stop getting you knickers in a twist, take a chill pill, pass the valium, have a nice cup of tea & a chocky biccie... :)

It's only a wee silly poll started by a nosey bugger (me) who was just trying to get a rough idea of which OS was generally the most popular amongst the users here.

It's not as if this was a government election being held in Red China where if you did or didn't vote the outcome would always be the same, also your not likely to get life or disappear if you didn't vote or the way you did vote was not liked by the party leadership, erm... at least I hope not... :nervous:

There are more important questions in life to be answered and taken more seriously, like Why is their always a sock missing every time I do a wash or Why do old pensioners smell so bad.... :D

Love, Peace, Harmony, Chill Man... :afro:

(Gawd... and my shrink say's Im mad...)
