Seems a little high to me!

Yes, especially since it does not even include a disk drive. Man, do you know what disks for those things cost? And no USB interface, either!

Really cool piece there.  Not something I could buy as anything the price of a home I would prefer to buy the home but in computer land, with all the original manuals and such that came with it at the time, rather cool historic piece.

I am ever saying thank-you yo all the crazy ones that brought us computing back in the day.  Whether it be Apple, Commodore, Atari, you name it.

Man, that is seriously weird! I remember when these were being marketed. First pre-assembled computer? The board was pre-assembled (during a period when most of the competition sold you an unpopulated bare board), but this thing is far from a complete system. And  no OS, which is OK since the cassette interface costs extra (what disk drive?)!

Yowza! I wish now I'd bought one back in the day. ;-) Back then, there was just one computer store in the entire state, a place about the size of a sandwich shop...  But I do remember seeing one of these on display. Wonder how long it will take for my Atari 800 to be worth that much. ;-)

Its not heavy enough to be an anchor. Now my old SWTPC SS50 system filled with cement? That would do fine.

Strange that the predecessor to the Apple II would sell for so much when Apple IIs themselves are worth very little. The most expensive (the IIGS, IIc, and IIe) are still trading for far less than a used Amiga.
Probably because of the numbers made and the fact that in comparison the Apple II looks much cruder.

LOL nice price number the, he must be the devil LOL.  For that time that is an astronomical price, man Apple has always been overpriced.

I hear Jobs is going to tell Wozniak it only sold for £50,000 and pay him a cut out of that amount.

Hey, everybody! Keep this to yourself, Woz isn't supposed to know (Jobs sold his computer).
