Considering Lotus Cars and Lotus F1 are both Malaysian owned, you'd think they'd be able to sort a situation out that would make sense.
It will be a shame for Lotus F1, I think they've done a good job this year and look set to make a real step forward next year.
Though since Lotus Cars have recently embarked upon a strategy that will turn them into a competitor for the likes of Porsche, Lamborghini, and notably, Ferrari and Mclaren on the road, I can see their desire to be involved in F1, though it would strike me as being easier (and probably a happier solution for their backers) to just merge Lotus F1 into Lotus Cars and go that way, but there you go.
Current 2010 Lotus is so much closer to the original Lotus than the team that will potentially become Lotus too after the Renault buy out. I hope they keep the name.
