I noticed this more with Invision ECS than the AGA one.  Which one are you using?

Have you considered the fact that the scrolling may be strictly intended for 50Hz refresh and you're watching the output on a display using a different refresh rate?

Get a monitor that can sync to 50Hz and configure the Indivision to output at 50Hz.

Valmis!

Perhaps you can get away with NTSC which runs at 60Hz and is possibly a better fit for modern LCDs.

Force the demo to run at 60Hz (Use WHDLoad?) and the scrolling will be smooth. (albeit a tiny bit faster)

FWIW most Eizo LCDs sync down to 50Hz using the VGA input. I've had mixed luck with other brands.

It reminds me of something...

I used to own a Minimig but sold it back because my monitor wouldn't accept its 50 Hz output (and I wasn't satisfied by the 60 Hz mode). What puzzled me is the fact it did accept a 50 Hz output from my "internet provider TV Box" (how do you call that in English ?).

There are probably tons of differences between those 2 devices... Different resolution but also the fact that the former was using a VGA plug and the latter an HDMI one.

Any idea ?

HDMI is used to connect video devices so it's more probably accepting  50 hz/15 kHz signal. VGA devices tend to default more to 60Hz/31 kHz so it may make a difference.

do you use the x1.25 or x1.0 setting in indivision config?
