CF to IDE adaptor's can they be used the other way around..?.!!!

Yeah, the idea is like to have a super massive storage capacity on one of those digicams that support good quality video.
Not many around support that cause most big brands choose to not have that feature, due to market predating between their own products (if they can sell more  camcorders and a digicams, instead of one product only it's pretty obvious what they'll choose..).
Sanyo seems to be cool in this respect. I have a now old VPC SX 550 and it supports recording of 640x480 movies at 15 fps. And the latter models support 640x480 30fps :-o  :-o  And they're cheap compared to other brands. And the quality is VERY good.

Ok I'll shut up 8-)

So, I was thinking about using one of those CF to IDE to use a laptop IDE HD  on my Sanyon digicam to have like a mass video storage thing....
CF are just to expensive
I guess problem could be the power ?
I haven't seen this so.....what do ya think?

By the way, there might be some problem with the capacity too I guess, maybe there also the 4GB limit there.

The software Digicam (I think) on Aminet supports digicams that use some common internal OS that is used in some digicams and the Sanyo VPC is supported. In other words I can connect it directly to my Amiga.  Actually I already have and it works.

Er... I'll shut up now and resume this thing to the main topic... 8-)
