Introduction of a "new" user...

Hello everyone,
I have been a member of this board since 2007, and i just realized i have never properly introduces myself.

I am from Norway, born 1978. I got my first computer in 1984 or 85, a C=64.
Never got into programming, as i newer knew what the term actually meant.
I have always used computers for gaming, and probably always will. apart from email and IM.
I am currently attaining school to become a gunsmith. And i plan to work as a gunsmith in 10 or even 20 years.


My computer story:
In 87 my father was visiting some friends and saw an A500 for the first time. Playing interceptor.
After that we got an A500, and sold the C64.
I still miss it though.

I had that 500 til 97 when it died, it was the first a 500 to arrive in my hometown, as it was the demo computer of the local store.
I also had a failing A2000 for a while.
But in the summer of 97 i got my A1200, traded it for a "pioneer TSWX100" car subwoofer. :D
It is the A1200 i still have. I purchased a blizzard PPC 060/50 240 with SCSI and BVision. But the ppc board was a faulty one. I had an apollo 1260 for a while when datacompaniet had my ppc board for testing. They sent it to phase 5 for repairs and i got the 040 ppc board i have today as a stand in till my 060 got fixed. But i never got it back.... :(

In summer of 99 my computerlife got a different twist, i went to the darkside and purchased my first PC. I got stuck with pcs and still are.
Although, in 2007 i thought it was about time i got the A1200 up and running again. I joined up on this board and thanks to "A4000_Mad" it got the SCSI zip drive on the A1200 working. Now i could transfer files to and from the amiga.
During the following tree years i got my hands on several 500ds, two A2000 (one is working), some peripherals (controllers, accelerators..++), a CDTV (near mint, no scratches at all, but missing a button in the front) and a CD32. I sold the CD32, but for some reason i got it back... I also have an efika board.

Today i am far away from my girlfriends, and i miss them every day. all of them... and i cant wait till summertime when i get back home to play with them again... :D

I sent my BlizzardPPC/040 to AteoConcept/France for repair, and I'm always waiting to got it back too...
