64mb simm dont fit

Hi

I received today a 64mb simm and surprisingly dont fit, my accelerator is a blizzard 1260 and the simm is a 64mb ibm with 6 ram chips in fron and 2 in the side rear part.

Its my blizzzard unique or just bad luck?

Luck.  The only double sided SIMMs that are sure to fit have very low-profile RAM chips on them, I've had a few 128MB SIMMs that fit 1260s nicely.

edit: unless of course your processor is socketed for some reason.  Could be tough fitting anything on there in that case.

My processor isnt socketed, my old 32mb simm is very low profile and single sided... by the way, another great buy.
