I hit the Amiga motherload!

I just got a 4000D and 3 4000T's from my boss for free!

They aren't complete, but close enough.

The desktop is just the board, zorro riser, power supply and bottom of the case.  Should be enough to get my old one running though.

One is the typical 4000T with the door that swings open.  It is missing all the the plastic for the front if anyone has it.  I only have the metal part of the case.

It had no CPU card (I've got a box of 040's anyway), but does have the A/V/IO risers.

The other two are unusual, one has a sticker on the back that says "QuickPak A4060T Power Tower" with a door that slides down and the motherboard is on a tray that slides out the back.

One has a 3640 and the other has a QuickPak 4060 with a 50mhz CPU and some yet unknown RAM.

One of these is missing the side of the case (again, I'd like a replacement if you have one), but all three look like they should run after cleaning.

Why do I never see these on the net?

That's your bonus for the year . Does your boss have any clue that this loot would be worth easily over $1000 U.S.? I haven't seen a QuickPak Power Tower before. It sounds interesting.

Lol, I may restore one to give back to him.  He's a great guy and I bet 50% of the people on this forum have hardware or software that he made

Here are some pics since I was asked what the odd ones look like.

For size comparison, the mostly dismantled shorter one is a normal 4000T that's missing the plastic.  These things are huge.

There is a NewTek sticker on one of the power supplies, but it's not a NewTek custom case.  He would have remembered that I think.

Two run, including the 060!

The third one had me stumped until I pulled the drive cage to change the CPU card and saw the two empty ROM sockets that were hidden from view.

I've pretty much decided that I'm going to sell one to help finance upgrades to make the other a daily driver.  I'll restore and return the third one, I think he'd appreciate it.

So if anyone wants them as is or any of my other loads of stuff, check the marketplace forum soon.

I just want one tower I can use daily.  A good video card (PCI w/Mediator or even a Picasso IV) and a Deneb USB are pretty much all I need I think.  Maybe a flicker fixer if there is one that fits a tower.

Me Too - my T/F system is in one of those. Almost as big as a Bomac Tower, but 1/4 the weight
