What happened to all the Amiga gear that guy was giving away?
« on: December 03, 2003, 06:49:10 PM »
You know, that pickled onions guy who was giving away Amiga stuff, and all the childish bickering that ensued?

I was just wondering what happened? (I personally need to get rid of Amiga stuff, not acquire more!)
I like Amigas

Wanna get rid of Amiga stuff ? Put it on Ebay, just like I have to do. just sold my Picasso IV and Xsurf. Still need to sell another Xsurf and an external high density drive and maybe my CV64/3D too ...

@Red

Isn't your home where all Miggy's go after their owners have moved on? I always assumed your house was like 'Amiga Heaven' or something to that. :-D

@jeffimix

The only A2000 accelerator I have at the moment is an A2620 I am thinking of selling. If interested make me an offer

@Methuselas
My house and/or my shop/storage does seem to have a constant flow through it. One of these days I will be wealthy enough to have my own museum. You have no idea how hard it is for me to sell some of the Amiga stuff i sell. I want to keep it all :-D

I can imagine. If I had the money to buy the Amiga stuff I wanted, I'd have a NERD room from HELL!

I have a 2630/25 4MB one on eBay. It's not new, but it's in great shape and it works perfectly (it was tested a number of months ago, marked, and put away in an anti static bag).
If I have military spec stuff listed on eBay, you can find it here  :-)

Yes. I WANT A PPC BOARD!  :-x

I am currently looking for a Blizzard PPC 240/040@24mhz. So then i can replce the crappy 040 CPU on that one with the 060 CPU that i currenly have on my own PPC board. Or i can just get a 240/060@50mhz one, save me a lot of bother, but not much of a chance.

COME ON! SOMEONE MUST HAVE ONE.

Also i will probably sell the left over bits. Maybe for free?  :-P

cu_amiga: GOOD LUCK with replacing a 040 with a 060, it wont work and if you awnt it to work...well here is some clues.

you need to change voltage and you need to get a SOCKET and you need to TIME the scsi part of it (even if it doesnt have scsi (you will notice 2 sets of oscilators, under them you hav some dipswitches....i wont say more because this is where everyone goes " O_O "..

i have seen too many try this and fry their cards.

On CSPPC this is easy to do, but on bppc...well i doubt even AMIGA.FR or vesalia etc will do it anymore or ever did...

anyway...GOODLUCK!.

pps:there is some guys in sweden who has this as a private project, but they take 200 Quid for dooing it.
(oh and no gurantee that it will work etc....)

Whats up with all the hate!

cu_amiga: umm btw u have a 160mhz ppc there with 060, why not clock that to 200mhz (max on the BIG ppc cpus..)

a small note: 150-175 = 603e BIG style cpu
              200-240 = 603e Small Style Cpu

Dont try to clock your Big Style cpu over 200 mhz as it will not be stable, but 200 will work and you can clock your 060 to 66mhz max without making it unstable but i suggest 62 or 60mhz for the 060 to make it the best stable and damn fast memory bandwidth compared to 66mhz (yes it gets slower and slower the higher u go)
