Hi All,
I think this must be my first thread on this forum or at least my first in absolutely ages!!

After reading some many interesting posts on here and thoroughly getting the bug again I decided to dig my A600 out and after 13 years (1997 was its last run..) it boots up and runs like I put it away yesterday

I think I am really lucky i never put it in my family loft or I suspect it would be long dead by now unfortunately..! I played Chaos Engine last night for an hour and it seems one happy little computer! I am so happy

I have been doing a lot of research over the past two weeks and the Amiga scene looks really healthy which I am really please to see - well done everyone

Hats off to people like Individual Computers who are still manufacturing new Amiga parts - on my shopping list from them so far is the 1mb trap door upgrade and Flicker Fixer card, I also really hope the rumors are true and they are developing a A630 board for this Christmas - I would certainly buy one to replace the Viper 630 I sold years ago

I also love the idea of using a solid state memory card as a hard disk which should help both energy consumption and speed no end! (PSU being the Amiga weak point from memory)
I was like a 13 year old boy again at Christmas last night!! lol (I'm 31 now..)
What a great forum as well!
Adrian
