Hi all,

I know you've all probably had questions on towers a million times but mines an easy one... what do you think the minimum height is to allow the miggy mobo to fit in pc case?

The A1200 motherboard is quite long, so I wouldn't want to go any smaller than Midi (3 or 4 5.25" drive bays).

Bear in mind that an optional PCMCIA device will add quite some height.

The minmum height depends on what revision of mb you have as some have the mouse port on a ribbon cable and some on the pcb making the mb longer.

The height of the tower becomes irrelevant though if you opt to place the a1200 m/b horizontally and take advantage of the length of the tower.

I'm sure I've seen it somewhere on the net - I can't remember where though.

Is there really any good web page online with a detailed how-to a1200 tower conversion?
