Also, anything below 4.85V is not good enough for a heavily expanded system. Swap the PSU for another with better regulation and clean the contacts with IPA and a soft brush (a toothbrush is good for this job).
Goodbye people.

I\'ll pop on from time to time, RL is acting up.

- Power supply in accordance with the voltage, never drops below 4.8 volts on 5+ line.

Hi, did you measure the voltage with a multi-meter, or an oscilloscope ? The 5V may be dipping quicker than you can see on a meter.

I second what rkauer says, i have seen a 4000 crash at 4.87v when i was using a old amiganet card, it was fine until i added the load with the transciever on the aui port, and that was just enough to drop it and lock up.

personally i like to see at least 4.9 on a expanded one. Also check the power supply to motherboard connector, its not unusual to find a pin or 2 expanded and not making good contact, and in bad cases the 5v pin has been hot and discolored.

good luck!

Thank you very much everybody.
The problem was the power supply, +4.8 is not enough.
I connect (with difficulty) the new ATX 500 watts, the voltage was +4.95 and all the voodoo began working steadily.
Now i'm have to find a replacement board of power supply. Are there any good solutions?
