Gawd that brings back memories, The Rubettes first album "Wear It's At" was given to me for my 11th birthday by my oldest sister, I always remember it came with this white cardboard cap that you pressed out from the album cover to make yourself a big white bunnet so you could look trendy just like the group...

Only thing was back in those days we only had one record player in the house in the living room, which was dads pride and joy and I only got to use it under his supervision, (which was not very often), so I built my own record player from lego, an empty Bic ballpoint tube, a sewing needle and a stork margarine tub...

It worked a treat but kinda wore away the LP as the sewing needle eventually ground down and wore out the tracks...
