My secondmost favourite song of one of my most cherished bands. I still can't accept that there will never be another album or tour :(. I never quite got people wailing over their dead idols, but after Peter Steele died I can relate a wee bit.

The classic of classics as far as I'm concerned:

-edit-

Karlos' Asian piano/keyboard-player  makes me happy just watching her having such a big grin performing, even if the music is not my thing =).

@ Speelgoedmannetje

Some quite interesting mood music there... :)

Not as good as the Koyaanisqatsi one you posted a while back, since I found out that was a movie I've been trying to buy it but can't seem to find it anywhere, any ideas...

@ tone007 & odin

That's gotta be the ugliest lead singer ever...

PS: Turn that bloody noise down... hmph, youngsters...

If you watched a lot of Tom and Jerry as a kid, you'll recognise lots of signature parts in that piece.

My first go at adding lyrics to a youtube video... :)

The brilliant but little known ditty by The Piranhas called Getting Beaten Up...:)

(I love the line... and they did the skinhead moonstomp on my face... classic...)

Well, I bought the three movies (Koyaanisqatsi, Powaqqatsi and Naqoyqatsi) a year ago or so in a local shop (not local local, just local ;)), it's very well known movie, should not be too hard to get by. Amazon has it in any case, otherwise you could ask in a shop if they order it for you, which they most often do :)
And I can assure you that these movies are enchanting. If I am a bit busy with everything and nothing (ordering my movies or music or whatever) and I just play a minute of the movie, I now know I will watch the entire movie till the end.

my band of choice before lunch this morning, eisenfunk. After lunch it will probably be the Trojan SKA collection (6 cd's of jamaican + british ska from the 60's).

hah yeah I picked up my box sets about 8 years ago when I worked for HMV head office in London (soho). I cherish my set of yellow and orange cd's ;)

your a Scot? I remember spending 'english' money in scotland instead of scots printed pound notes. Lady gave me a real dirty look lol. Then I spent a scots tenner in london and got the reverse dirty look hahah.

This one's been bugging me for years, I have it on an old 12" vinyl record that only has a plain white label and the words "test pressing" scratched around the inside. I believe it to be The Beastie Boys featuring the Gary Moor track "Friday on my mind". Anyone have any info about it...

Jammy git,:) I had to buy mines... :(

£50 notes are only made in England and as I tend to carry a few grands worth around with me you should see the looks I get from shops & pubs up here when trying to spend them... :)
