Your right their, very Doors sounding real late 60's early 70's heavy rock band feel to it, I like it... :)

That's one of the things I like about this thread when someone else posts some music here that I might otherwise never have got to hear, it's led me to add some new bands/musical styles to my music collection... :)

HAWKWIND.... Me... Never...

I was only about 7 when this one came out but that was back in the days when we only had 3 TV channels so most entertainment was from Radio and records. My oldest sister who now lives in your fair town of Portland Oregon used to listen to them a lot guess thats where I picked up a lot my musical tastes from...

Sometimes I think we'd be better off if we still only had 3 TV channels.

It always amused me that Lemmy (of Motorhead fame) supposedly got kicked out of hawkwind for doing too many drugs. He'd have had to do them by the truck load!

I know, I've got at least 400 channels of absolute shit to choose from on my Sky box and everytime you flick channels it's nothing but ruddy adverts.

Reckon Lemmy was still drugged up to the eyeballs when he did this show back in the 80's...

I can heartily recommend checking out hulu or crackle.com online. You still get some ad's but they are super short, and there's a ton of shows and movies. Been watching Godzilla movies for the last 3 days :D

Well that's another band to add to my music collection, love music & bands that mainly use guitars... :cool:

Just don't ever post any Phil Collins or Genesis stuff, cos my best mate for the past 30 years has drove me mental with that as it's the only music he has and listens to constantly (his party's are kind of a big no no due to that fact...)
