Switching between WarpOS and PowerUP software
« on: August 25, 2010, 09:22:35 PM »
Hi, I have OS 3.9BB3 and a Cyberstorm PPC and I find myself constantly switching between PowerUP and WarpOS (in order to run the different software titles supporting PowerPC).

Currently I am renaming PowerPC.library to PowerPC.library-old and then rebooting, then my PowerUP applications work.   Then I rename it back to PowerPC.library, reboot again, and my WarpUP/OS/Warp3D apps work.

Is there an easier way to do this?  I would like to stay away from that PowerUP emulator by Frank Wille, just because, you know, I don't like to emulate when you can run the real thing.

Thanks :)

I think there's no other way but start using ppclibemu and stop renaming your poor libraries :). It works nicely and transparently whether it is a PUP/WOS app/game running.
