I have very recently purchased the Mediator 1200 SX  for my Amiga 1200 in
a Mirage tower, and the instructions are very clear but the only thing i
cannot grasp is where i should place the hard disk. My harddisk is a
Seagate 2,5 'inch, 250MB and is in a sort of Hard disk holder, It is specificly the holder that is blocking the space for
the Mediator toward the PCI openings in the Mirage Tower that i use. My
only solution for this is that i take the Hard Disk out of the holder and
screw it directly to the motherboard, but i am not sure of this. This way
i could see that there is enough space for the HD. Could you advise me
about this ? Thanks for your time

I think most tower users use a 3.5 inch hard drive the 2.5 inch disc would depend on how long the ide lead is and would have to be custom mounted if you have a lead that is long enough you could maybe get some adaptor rails to fit it in a 5.25 drive bay. :-)
I once had an amigaone xe but sold it .
