SkyflyPPC no longer displaying fps - WarpOS crash
« on: August 17, 2010, 07:42:03 PM »
Hi. Im having this strange problem. I'd like to use the Mesa/Glut demo 'skyflyppc' for benchmarking purposes. If you run the app in fullscreen you can press 'T' for displaying frames per second.

Now since yesterday, for some reason, whenever I press T the app locks up and crashes with a WarpOS exception:

PowerPC Alignment exception
Acces to 7165B27E
The excepting instruction is located at 71766488
Task name: 'Background CLI_PPC1' Task address: 707D54F0

Funny thing is, I have spent quite some time configuring my system and I'm pretty sure its all nice & tidy. I have no clue what could have gone wrong and checked all the related, slightly related and totally unrelated stuff.

This includes WarpOS, Warp3D, rtgmaster, the MESA package, all the cgx/warpos/mesa/glut settings (I wrote them all down from when they were still working). Ofcourse I tried a basic workbench without MCP and all the other patches, too. I also renamed the env-archive/ mesa/glut directories to see if some strange setting was saved in there. The only thing I did over the weekend was a reinstall of AHI and the installation of a few games like Freespace, Quake 2 and Nemac IV.

Can someone shed some light on this or at least point me in the right direction?
