Are the contents of the CD in the root of the CF card? If so, type Assign EasyNet: 447B-BA34:
Just interested how the Amiga knows to boot from the PCMCIA slot thats all. Wouldn`t have thought the CF0: would have appeared from the early boot screen. Just intrigued.
Hi i wrote what you said ,and it came back invalid name EasyNet:447B-BA34:
Or "assign EasyNet: 447B-BA34:EasyNet" if it is a drawer on the card.I'm also curious about what the device name that is listed for "447B-BA34:", if it isn't CF0: - the volume name "447B-BA34:" sounds like something that is formatted on a windows PC.
And if you double click on 447B-BA34, does it open a window, and do you see something in there called "EasyNet"? You might have to go to the window menu and select "show" -> "show all files" to make it visible, I guess.
Sorry... Hi jacking a thread here, but where is the Amiga operating system in all this and what is the mounted drive and what file system are we using if the drive is PC Formatted. Or is that what this adaptor does.
When you type in an Amiga Shell: assign EasyNet: CF0:EasyNet 0 in CF0: is a numeral zero, not letter O There is a space between assign and EasyNet: and also another space between EasyNet: and CF0:EasyNet, i.e assignEasyNet:CF0:EasyNet
Hi and now it said insert volume CF0 IN ANY DRIVE
Thats the prompt for you to insert the Compact Flash card with EasyNet on it into the CF PCMCIA adapter inserted in the side PCMCIA slot of your Amiga.
