onescapee: fragmented chipmem?
« on: August 04, 2010, 07:28:21 PM »
Hi. Ive been trying to get Onescapee working under CyberGraphX (using the 1.07 patch), but no matter what I try, it keeps saying:

OpenScreen_RTG: standard-bitmap request accepted OK, but bitmap not interleaved!
Reason: Your ChipRAM is too fragmented

This happens from cold boot with 1.924KB Chipram free (and 239MB fast)

Any clues?

DOH! I should RTFM. Turning off PLANES2FAST did the trick.. So the question is.. can I safely leave this off? I know Ive enabled it for a reason :)

PLANES2FAST speeds up the system. Just create a script that temporarily disables it and after you quit the game turns it back on. That's how i did it when i had CGX.
